FAQ's

What do we offer? We are a kiteboarding school with one on one lessons what will let you get the full experience with in two days
What is kiteboarding? Kiteboarding is a wind powered surface water-sport using a kite and a board to move across the water. Kites with inflatable tubes are used to produce the pull from the wind. The inflatable parts of the kites help hold the shape and also allow the kite to float and therefore be re-launched from the water.Various sizes of kites are used depending on the wind strength and size of the rider, anything from 2 to 14m2. Kitesurfing harnesses the power of the wind through a large parachute type kite to propel a rider across the water on a small surfboard or a kiteboard (similar to a wakeboard).
Is kiteboarding dangerous? Thanks to massive design improvements of the kites in last couple of years, the sport has become much safer.
Do I need to bring anything with me? Everything is supplied for the kite classes; all students are given harnesses and helmet as well as the kitesurfing equipment. You are welcome to bring your own wet suit or we can provide one as well. Sunscreen, a towel and also food, drinks or snacks you may want.
Is a one day class enough to learn to kiteboard? A 1 day kitesurfing course covers a lot of information and all of the theory and safety, but unless you are a fast learner, there is not enough time to complete enough practical experience to become a master in one day. A one day kitesurfing course is a good introduction to the sport, however, if you are sure you want to really learn the sport and continue, we suggest a 2 or 3 day kitesurfing course.
