Ramon Cruz

Ramon learned to kite board in San Carlos and fell in love, so much that he has become an experienced instructor that has traveled around the world trying out new tricks and learning from the best. Ramon is originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco and speaks both Spanish and English.  Ramon is an asset to our team for his calm nature.  You would never know that this soft spoken guy was a thrill seeker.  He will make your fears go away with constant reassurance and instruction.  Add your name to the many that have learned to kite board from Ramon.  

Darren Thompson

Darren Thompson learned to kite board here in San Carlos as well as many other sports. Darren was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, to adventurous parents who were traveling in Mexico at time.  He grew up in Ukiah, California, but always had a love for Mexico.  He returned to Mexico in 2006 and has loved every minute since.  Like Ramon, Darren is a very patient teacher with a calm nature.  Darren is never in a hurry, just try driving behind him and you will become very aware of how much he is NEVER in a hurry!  As calm as Darren is on the outside, he has a strong desire for adventure.  With a broad base of extreme sports, including whitewater kayaking, extreme mountain biking, rock climbing, scuba diving, motocross, and more, kiteboarding was an obvious fit.  Darren is IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) certified and focuses on safety first.   Take advantage of this awesome talent in our little paradise that is San Carlos, you won't regret it!
